8:04 p.m. - E. Main Street and Winona Avenue, John Ciotola, 54, arrested and accused of OVI (fourth offense). The police were called in the area to inform that a vehicle had jumped on a sidewalk. The police said Ciotola was driving a vehicle in which the tire next to the passenger was still in the brothel. The police said he was confused and lethargic, saying he took Ambien before leaving the job. A test of sobriety failed, although he had no alcohol in his system, according to a police report.
2:08 am - Herbert Road and S. Turner Road, Christopher Koval, 35, arrested and accused of OVI (second offense). The police arrested Koval for a speed violation and said he was smoking alcohol, according to a police report. The police said he agreed to drink two beers and a portable breathing test showed a blood-alcohol reading of 0.096, just above the legal limit of 0.08. He later admitted taking a Vicodin, according to a police report. The police said the urine test showed a .067 reading.
